The Smallest Density Meter, officially the Eradens X is built into a corrosion‑resistant aluminum frame measuring about 18 × 28.6 × 29.3 cm and weighs 7 kg. It uses an innovative vertically aligned x‑oscillating metal U‑tube (made of Hastelloy C276) without moving parts. A color 8.4″ touchscreen and built‑in industrial PC control sample intake via top‑down injection. The unit accepts 85–264 V AC and draws roughly 150 W during operation.
It complies with ASTM D4052, D5002, D5931, D7777, and ISO 12185 standards. The device measures density from 0 to 3 g/cm³ with 0.00001 g/cm³ resolution and accuracy of ±0.00005 g/cm³. Temperature is regulated between 0 °C and 100 °C with ±0.02 °C precision. A pressure-rated cell (up to 10 bar absolute) and full-range viscosity correction guarantee reliable readings in under 15 seconds per 2 mL sample. Built-in FillingProof® system detects micro bubbles via pressure‑based verification.
