Portable FTIR Multi-threat Identification – ThreatID

The Portable FTIR Multi-threat Identification – ThreatID is engineered to identify over 23,000 powders and liquids, along with more than 5,600 gases and vapors. Built around FTIR technology, it combines a diamond ATR module for solid and liquid sampling with a multi-pass 4-meter gas cell. This flexibility allows operators to switch between sample types in seconds—no tools, calibration, or manual adjustments required.

At 15 lbs and enclosed in a 14×11×6-inch rugged housing, the system includes an integrated Android-powered computer, 10” touchscreen display, and multiple connectivity options (USB, WiFi, Bluetooth, and Ethernet). The device resists oversaturation, offers continuous use in extreme field conditions, and features automated alarms for proteins, CWAs, explosives, and more. A built-in camera supports precise surface targeting, and users can customize search libraries to meet mission-specific needs.

The Portable FTIR Multi-threat Identification – ThreatID is well-suited for hazmat teams, border control, EOD specialists, and CBRN units. Whether deployed for chemical incident response, drug detection, or battlefield assessment, it ensures accurate results for TICs, TIMs, VOCs, narcotics, explosives, and even pharmaceuticals. Mixture search algorithms further support real-time analysis of complex or layered threats on-site.

All units are supported by Tactical Supply Pakistan, offering 24/7/365 reachback, online troubleshooting, and a streamlined decontamination process with standard disinfectants. The rugged IP67-rated power port and system design ensure reliability during long-term operations in unstable or unpredictable environments.

Can users operate the ThreatID without prior FTIR training?
Yes. The system requires no calibration or alignment. It’s designed for straightforward use in the field, with touch-based navigation, preloaded libraries, and automated search tools guiding even non-specialists to quick, reliable identifications
