GatorCam4
The Radiodetection GatorCam4 is a pushrod pipeline video inspection system built for surveying underground pipes, drainage systems, sewer lines, and utility conduits. The system centers on a ruggedized controller unit paired with a choice of 1-inch (25mm) or 2-inch (50mm) stainless steel camera heads. Camera bodies are constructed from 303 stainless steel and rated to withstand up to 11 bar of pressure — equivalent to operating at 100 meters underwater.
The GatorCam4+ controller variant features an integrated lithium-ion battery with a push-button fuel gauge, eliminating the need for an external power lead during field deployment. Both controller variants display footage on an ultra-bright 8-inch TFT screen, with single-button press recording of high-quality digital video and still images. Users can zoom, pan, and rotate images during active recording to focus on defects or blockages.
The 1-inch camera head carries a polycarbonate LED cover and is specifically shaped to navigate tight bends, with the plumbers reel configuration capable of negotiating traps from 2 inches (50mm) and bends from 1¼ inches (32mm). The 2-inch camera is self-levelling, keeping the picture upright throughout navigation. Storage is handled via high-speed Compact Flash cards of up to 16GB capacity, with full USB flash drive support for on-site data transfer.
The GatorCam4 is well suited for municipal drainage authorities, construction contractors, and utility inspection teams operating across Pakistan’s urban infrastructure in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Faisalabad.
