Standard Sewer Inspection Sonde

The Standard Sewer Inspection Sonde series includes three battery-operated transmitters for subsurface pipe location work. The Standard Sonde measures 1.53 x 4.13 inches (39 x 105mm) and detects to 5 meters (16 feet) depth, available in 512Hz, 8kHz, and 33kHz frequencies. The Sewer Sonde spans 2.51 x 6.61 inches (64 x 168mm) with 8-meter (26-foot) range at 33kHz. The Super Sonde extends 2.51 x 12.51 inches (64 x 318mm) and reaches 15 meters (49 feet) depth.

Construction features sealed housings that protect internal circuitry from moisture and debris contact during drain insertion. The Sewer and Super models incorporate reinforced end caps designed for abrasive wastewater environments. All units attach to Flexrod systems and compatible push-rod assemblies through threaded connections. Battery compartments allow field replacement without specialized tools.

Municipal sewer departments use the Standard Sewer Inspection Sonde variants to map aging underground drainage networks before rehabilitation projects begin. Plumbing contractors attach them to CCTV crawler units for simultaneous video inspection and surface position marking above blocked lines. Environmental engineers deploy Super Sondes to trace deep industrial effluent pipes beneath manufacturing facilities. Building maintenance teams utilize Standard Sondes for locating floor drain connections hidden under concrete slabs in commercial structures.

Tactical Supply Pakistan supplies professional-grade location technology for operators managing complex underground infrastructure systems across Pakistan’s urban centers.

Can the Standard Sonde’s multiple frequency options improve detection in electrically noisy environments?
Yes, selecting appropriate frequencies reduces interference from competing signals. The 512Hz option works well near active power lines where higher frequencies face electromagnetic competition.
