Anti Riot Vehicles serve as specialized security platforms, built on armored 4×4 or 6×6 chassis. Their hulls use certified ballistic steel or composites rated to CEN B6/B7 (NIJ III/IV) and STANAG Level I–II standards. Most units seat 8 to 12 personnel in a fully protected cabin. They also feature run-flat tires, heavy-duty suspension, and reinforced powertrains that support gross vehicle weights up to 23,000 kg. Transparent armor glazing—ranging from 40 to 80 mm—provides 360° visibility while resisting small arms and rifle-grade fire.
To clear obstacles, these vehicles often include front-mounted hydraulic rams or barricade plows. Roof turrets can mount .50 cal or 7.62 mm machine guns, or non-lethal systems such as sound cannons. Additionally, integrated systems include water cannons with 10,000 to 14,000 L tanks that reach distances of 50–65 m. Some models support foam or chemical dispersal and tear-gas injection. For full situational control, the command suite offers 360° surveillance with night-vision, strobe lights, PA systems, and onboard fire suppression. Furthermore, a CBRN filtration system protects occupants inside the sealed cabin during chemical or biological threats.
