28 METER COASTAL PATROL BOAT

Coastal Patrol Vessel

The Coastal Patrol Vessel BIS PV-43 measures 43.16 meters in overall length with an 8-meter maximum breadth and 2.80-meter draught. Hull construction utilizes AH36 high-tensile steel while the superstructure employs AlMg4.5Mn aluminum alloy. Twin main engines generate 2x2525kW of power driving controllable pitch propellers to achieve speeds exceeding 27.9 knots at 100% MCR. Electric plant capacity totals 287kWe across three generators. The vessel accommodates 14 crew members plus 3 additional personnel with 10-day autonomy at sea.

Armament consists of one 30mm automatic cannon mounted in a stabilized turret with electro-optical sensors enabling 200 rounds per minute fire rate and automatic target tracking. Two manually operated 12.7mm machine guns provide secondary firepower alongside four hand-portable anti-aircraft missile systems. An active stabilization system with dual fins maintains full operational capability in sea state 5 per NATO STANAG 4154 criteria. Damage stability withstands flooding of two adjacent compartments. Hermetically sealed NBC-protected spaces safeguard crew during chemical or biological threats.

Naval forces deploy the Coastal Patrol Vessel for border surveillance, counter-terrorism operations, search and rescue missions, and interception duties in territorial waters. The vessel covers 1000 nautical miles at 15 knots on single fuel load due to optimized hull design reducing consumption. Day and night operations rely on built-in electro-optical sensor systems supporting autonomous vessel control. The included RHIB fast intervention boat enables rapid deployment of boarding teams or rescue personnel.

Tactical Supply Pakistan represents this Croatian-developed patrol platform for maritime security requirements demanding speed, endurance, and firepower integration. Remote control capabilities and modern sensor suites reduce crew workload during extended patrols. The combination of weapons systems and seakeeping performance addresses threats across multiple operational scenarios.

Can the vessel operate effectively in rough weather conditions?
Yes, the active fin stabilization system ensures full operability up to sea state 5 on the WMO scale, meeting NATO seakeeping standards for sustained operations in challenging maritime environments.
