RF Signal Generators
An RF signal generator produces radio frequency signals at a set frequency and power level, used to test receivers, antennas, and other RF equipment. Frequency range typically spans from 100kHz up to 6GHz or higher on advanced models, with output power adjustable from -100dBm up to +20dBm or more depending on the unit. The operator sets frequency, power, and modulation type through a touchscreen or rotary dial interface, then outputs the signal through an SMA or BNC connector for connection to the device under test.
