Multi-Band Lights

Multi-band lights emit selectable wavelengths across white, infrared, red, green, blue, and UV spectrums from a single compact unit — giving military operators, law enforcement teams, and search and rescue personnel a single light source that covers all tactical illumination requirements without carrying separate lights for each wavelength application.

White light handles general illumination, map reading, and area lighting at output levels from 100 to 1,000 lumens depending on model and mode selection. Infrared output at 730nm, 850nm, and 940nm wavelengths provides covert illumination visible only through image-intensified night vision goggles (NVGs) and thermal cameras — allowing operators to move, signal, and illuminate targets without white light signatures visible to the naked eye. Furthermore, IR illumination at 850nm floods areas for NVG use at ranges beyond the passive amplification capability of the goggles alone — extending effective night vision range in low-starlight conditions. Red output at 620-630nm preserves dark-adapted night vision during map reading, equipment checks, and crew coordination inside vehicles and command posts — red light does not reset the eye’s rhodopsin dark adaptation the way white light does.

Blue light at 450-470nm enhances blood trail detection and biological fluid fluorescence for tracking and forensic field applications. UV output at 365-395nm reveals document security features, currency authenticity markings, and biological traces on surfaces. Green output at 520-535nm balances visibility distance with night vision compatibility — used for signaling and short-range illumination when IR is unnecessary. Additionally, strobe modes on tactical multi-band lights provide IFF signaling visible to aircraft under NVG, distress signaling, and disorientation effects for non-lethal force application at entry control points.
