Lancing Equipment
Lancing equipment covers the tools, consumables, and accessories used in thermal lance cutting and oxy-fuel burning bar operations — where high-pressure oxygen feeds through a steel tube packed with metal rods to generate temperatures exceeding 4,000°C at the cutting face. This combination cuts through reinforced concrete, hardened steel, cast iron, rock, refractory linings, and frozen mechanical assemblies that standard cutting torches cannot penetrate.
Core lancing equipment components include steel burning bars — hollow tubes typically 1.5 to 3 meters in length and 19mm to 25mm in outer diameter, packed internally with steel and aluminum alloy rods. The rod packing increases combustion surface area inside the tube, sustaining the extreme temperatures required to cut non-ferrous and refractory materials. Oxygen supply hoses rated to high working pressures connect the lance to an oxygen cylinder or manifold system. Lance holders clamp onto the unburned end of the bar, providing directional control and keeping the operator’s hands clear of the active burn zone. Furthermore, oxygen pressure regulators set and maintain the correct flow rate for the lance diameter in use — typically 3 to 7 bar working pressure for standard burning bar operations.
Ignition equipment includes starter rods or propane torch assemblies that bring the lance tip to ignition temperature before oxygen flow commences. Protective equipment for lancing operations covers welding-grade face shields rated to EN 166 impact and EN 169 filter shade standards, leather gauntlet gloves, leather aprons, and steel-toe boots — all required given the extreme spatter, UV radiation, and molten material generated during active lance cuts.
Additionally, specialist underwater lancing equipment packages modified lance holders with waterproof oxygen hose connections and sealed ignition assemblies — extending thermal cutting capability to submerged steel structures, sunken vessel recovery operations, and underwater demolition tasks.
These tools serve Pakistan Army field engineering and demolition units, Gadani shipbreaking contractors, mining and quarrying operations in KPK and Balochistan, EOD teams requiring thermal cutting of suspect containers, and heavy industrial maintenance contractors in Karachi and Lahore cutting seized structural steel components.
Tactical Supply Pakistan supplies lancing equipment for thermal cutting, field demolition, industrial steel cutting, and underwater cutting operations procurement across Pakistan.
