LabRadar Ballistic Velocity Doppler Radar Chronograph
The LabRadar is a personal Doppler radar chronograph that measures projectile velocity across the full flight path from muzzle to downrange without requiring the shooter to position wire screens, optical sensors, or any equipment downrange of the muzzle. It uses a miniaturized Doppler radar transceiver mounted in a compact desktop unit that the shooter positions beside the shooting bench, pointing the radar beam downrange alongside the bore axis. As the projectile travels downrange, the radar tracks it continuously and records velocity at multiple user-defined distances from the muzzle, producing a velocity curve showing how the projectile decelerates across the measured distance rather than a single muzzle velocity reading.
The LabRadar measures velocities from 100 feet per second to 3,999 feet per second, covering everything from airguns and subsonic handgun loads to high-velocity rifle cartridges and magnum rounds. It records velocity at the muzzle and at up to six downrange distances selectable by the user in yards or meters, storing each string’s individual shot data and calculating average velocity, extreme spread, and standard deviation across the string automatically. Data transfers to a computer via USB or Bluetooth for analysis in the LabRadar companion application.
The unit triggers automatically on gunshot detection through its built-in microphone, eliminating the need for manual trigger operation between shots. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery supports extended range sessions.
In Pakistan, the LabRadar is used by competitive shooters developing and testing handloaded ammunition, military and law enforcement armorers verifying ammunition lot consistency, ballistic researchers studying projectile flight performance, and precision rifle shooters measuring velocity retention across distance for long-range trajectory data.
Tactical Supply Pakistan supplies the LabRadar Doppler chronograph for competitive shooters, armorers, and ballistic researchers requiring accurate multi-distance velocity measurement across Pakistan.
