A Handheld Triaxial Fluxgate Magnetometer is a portable magnetic field measurement instrument that simultaneously measures the three orthogonal vector components — X, Y, and Z — of the ambient magnetic field using three mutually perpendicular fluxgate sensor elements housed within a single compact probe assembly. The triaxial configuration provides complete vector field information from a single measurement without requiring the instrument to be oriented in a specific direction, and equipment magnetic signature assessment in locations where sensor orientation cannot be controlled precisely.

Measurement range on handheld triaxial fluxgate units typically spans ±100,000 nanotesla (nT) — covering the full range of ambient geomagnetic field values encountered globally including polar regions — with resolution of 0.1 to 1.0 nT and sensitivity between 0.1 and 10 nT RMS at 1Hz bandwidth.

The instrument housing is manufactured from non-magnetic materials — aluminum alloy, ABS polymer, or PEEK — to prevent the housing itself from contributing to the measured field. Internal rechargeable lithium-ion batteries provide 8 to 12 hours of continuous operation,  RS-232, or Bluetooth to a connected display device.

Tactical Supply Pakistan supplies handheld triaxial fluxgate magnetometers for geological survey, defense, EMC testing, and security procurement across Pakistan.
