A Drone Spoofer is an electronic countermeasure system that transmits false GPS or GNSS signals toward a target unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), overriding the drone’s legitimate satellite navigation input with fabricated positional data to manipulate its flight path, redirect it to a designated location, or force a controlled landing without physical interception or RF jamming. Unlike jamming systems that disrupt navigation by blocking satellite signals, spoofing replaces authentic GNSS data with synthetic signals the drone accepts as genuine, allowing the operator to steer the target aircraft covertly and with greater precision over its final position.

The spoofing system generates GNSS signal replicas across GPS L1 (1.575GHz) and L2 (1.227GHz) frequencies, and on advanced configurations, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo bands, gradually shifting the false position solution fed to the drone’s navigation processor. The gradual offset technique prevents the drone’s navigation system from detecting sudden coordinate discontinuities that would trigger anomaly alerts or failsafe responses, allowing the spoofer to walk the target aircraft smoothly off its intended course.

Effective spoofing range depends on transmitted power, antenna directivity, and the signal strength differential between the spoofed signal and genuine satellite signals at the target drone’s location. Directional antenna configurations focus transmitted power toward the target, reducing the spoofing footprint on surrounding GNSS receivers.

The system’s control interface allows operators to define a target landing zone by inputting GPS coordinates, with the spoofing algorithm automatically calculating the required false position offset trajectory to guide the drone to the specified point.
