Vibrating Magnetometer

The Vibrating Magnetometer  is a desktop laboratory instrument designed for high-precision measurement of magnetic properties. It utilizes a DC power supply to energize an electromagnet, producing a uniform magnetic field up to 0.8T across the sample region. The sample, positioned at the center of the electrode, is driven to vibrate at its natural frequency of 37Hz using an exciter. This motion induces an electromotive force as the sample cuts magnetic field lines, which is then captured by a lock-in amplifier. The system accommodates solid, liquid, powder, and granular samples up to 10 × 10 × 10 mm, supporting measurements of sheets, films, and bulk materials.

The combines a magnetic field system, vibration assembly, and control unit into a compact design measuring 79 cm × 49 cm × 131 cm for the measuring system, with a temperature control unit of 52 cm × 81 cm × 155 cm. The electromagnet features a built-in gaussmeter and flux measurement, powered by a 1500 W supply. The control system integrates a computer with dedicated software for automated hysteresis loop measurement, saturation magnetization, coercive field, and remanence determination. The user interface, displayed on an LCD, allows straightforward operation, rapid data acquisition, and real-time analysis. Measurement accuracy ranges from 10⁻³ to 100 emu with less than 2% error, while sensitivity exceeds 10⁻⁶ emu/rt-Hz.

In real-world applications, the Vibrating Magnetometer is employed in evaluating magnetic microelectromechanical systems, spintronic devices, random-access memory materials, and biosensors. Researchers use it to generate magnetization curves under controlled temperature and field conditions, while industrial labs rely on it for quality control of magnetic films, powders, and coatings.

Scientists and engineers trust Tactical Supply Pakistan to provide high-performance, reliable magnetometry equipment with full technical support and calibration services.
