Medium EOD / C-IED Robot

The Medium EOD / C-IED Robot measures 115 centimeters in length, 74 centimeters in width, and 53 centimeters in height with an operational weight of 200 kilograms. The aerospace-grade aluminum chassis incorporates electromagnetic brakes for terrain stability. Two electric motors deliver 600 watts each, achieving speeds of 5 kilometers per hour. Two interchangeable lithium-ion UN38 batteries provide 5-hour continuous operation. The vehicle clears obstacles up to 20 centimeters high with slope capability reaching 40 degrees. Waterproof and dustproof construction meets IP67 standards. Front and rear fixed cameras include 8MP resolution with infrared LED lighting.

Platform payload capacity reaches 250 kilograms. The 5-axis motorized arm lifts 70 kilograms when folded and 30 kilograms when extended. Clamp attachments include cutting blades for wire severance and punch systems for window breaking. The 180-degree video turret provides comprehensive visual feedback. Picatinny rail interfaces accept CBRN sensors and fiber-optic equipment. Pre-programmed arm positions enable consistent task execution. Dual-frequency 2.4 GHz remote control maintains 1,000-meter transmission range with optional mesh relay systems.

The Medium EOD / C-IED Robot deploys across demining operations, counter-improvised explosive device scenarios, and hazardous facility inspections. Military and civilian demining units employ this system for buried ordnance location, wire-activated device neutralization, and CBRN sampling. Field operators maintain 1,000 meters distance during clearance operations. Complex terrain navigation enables access through collapsed structures and rubble-strewn environments.

Tactical Supply Pakistan supplies this tool-free modular design enabling rapid mission reconfiguration without mechanical assembly. Two primary mission modules adapt between EOD and reconnaissance tasks. Optional fiber-optic unwinders and CBRN sensor packages expand operational capability. Integrated GPS navigation provides operator situational awareness.

Can this UGV’s arm operate with pre-programmed sequences during demining operations?
The system supports pre-programmed arm positions for repetitive tasks but maintains operator control authority. Remote operators can execute sequences or override with real-time commands during active C-IED scenarios requiring dynamic response.
