The Katadyn BeFree Gravity 10L water filtration system features a hollow fiber EZ-Clean Membrane™ with 0.1-micron pores to filter out bacteria, cysts, and sediment effectively. Equipped with a 10-liter durable silicone water bag, it weighs approximately 284 grams and packs down to 24.5 x 21.6 x 5.8 cm. When in use, the water bag expands to about 23 x 51 cm, accompanied by a 122 cm hose for easy water transfer. Made from resistant, food-grade plastics and silicone, it includes accessories such as a quick-release valve, adapter ring, hose clamp, and a transport bag.
This gravity filter system operates without pumping. The EZ-Clean Membrane™ can be cleaned by shaking or swishing in water, maintaining a steady flow rate of up to 2 liters per minute. The system can process up to 1,000 liters, depending on water quality. Quick connector fittings allow the transfer of filtered water into various containers with minimal contamination risk. A water level indicator window makes it easy to see when refilling is needed.
