Filtration stages: Sediment (100 → 5 µm) → Activated carbon block (0.5–5 µm) → UF membrane (0.01–0.1 µm) optional.

Removes: turbidity, chlorine, odors, organic taste; UF removes bacteria/cysts but not dissolved salts.
