Weather Stations and Instruments
Weather stations and instruments measure and record atmospheric conditions including temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, barometric pressure, solar radiation, and rainfall at fixed monitoring sites and portable field positions. Military operations planners, civil aviation authorities, agricultural meteorological programs, disaster management agencies, and industrial safety teams across Pakistan use weather stations and instruments to support operational planning, crop management, flight safety, and emergency response activities.
Automatic weather stations integrate multiple sensor types onto a single mast-mounted assembly with a central data logger. Temperature sensors use platinum resistance elements with accuracy within plus or minus 0.1°C. Humidity sensors use capacitive probes measuring relative humidity between 0 and 100% RH. Cup anemometers or ultrasonic transducers measure wind speed and direction. Tipping bucket rain gauges record rainfall in 0.1mm increments. Additionally, barometric pressure sensors use MEMS transducers covering 500 to 1100 hPa with resolution below 0.1 hPa. Solar radiation pyranometers measure incoming energy in watts per square meter for irrigation management and solar resource assessment programs.
Data loggers record all parameters at intervals between 1 and 60 minutes. GSM, 4G LTE, or satellite links transmit stored data to central meteorological management platforms automatically. Solar panel power supply with battery backup maintains continuous operation at remote sites without mains infrastructure. Furthermore, portable weather station kits deploy at military forward positions, disaster response staging areas, and field survey camps in under 30 minutes. These suit temporary operations where permanent installation infrastructure is unavailable.
Display consoles show current conditions across all measured parameters simultaneously. Alarm outputs activate when measured parameters exceed user-defined operational thresholds. Moreover, data export in CSV and XML formats supports integration with agricultural management software, aviation weather systems, and military operations planning platforms used across Pakistan’s defense and civil sectors.
Tactical Supply Pakistan supplies weather stations and instruments to civil aviation meteorological programs, agricultural monitoring networks, military operations support units, disaster management agencies, and industrial safety teams requiring accurate atmospheric measurement capability across fixed and portable weather monitoring applications throughout Pakistan.
