Long Range Thermal Cameras

The Long Range Thermal Cameras lineup covers four configurations: a fixed bullet camera, a bi-spectrum PTZ, a thermal HD sphere PTZ, and a cooled sphere flagship unit. Thermal resolution ranges from 640×512 on the bullet and bi-spectrum models to 1280×1024 on the HD sphere, while the cooled sphere uses a 640×512 detector with 15μm pixel pitch. Focal lengths span 50mm to 100mm on the fixed bullet camera and stretch to 22–510mm and even 40–1200mm zoom ranges on the cooled sphere. Housings carry anti-corrosive coating with NEMA-4X and IP66/67 ratings, and select models add deicing heating plus thermal and optical defog for coastal or desert extremes.

Optical channels reach 1920×1080 HD on the bi-spectrum model and up to 4MP on the cooled sphere, with laser illuminators extending from 800m to 3km depending on configuration. The sphere models pair with security radar through 0.01° pan-tilt accuracy, tracking up to 32 targets across 16 detection zones and 4 tripwire lines. Self-cleaning lens modules generate water mist on demand, cutting down on manual maintenance in remote deployments.

Border security teams mount the Long Range Thermal Cameras along fence lines and pair sphere units with radar for open desert or coastal terrain, where field tests confirmed 2km vehicle detection and 600m human detection. Power stations, pipelines, and airports use fixed and PTZ variants for unmanned perimeter monitoring, while ports and coastal installations rely on the cooled sphere for ship detection up to 32km.

Security teams guarding sensitive terrain need equipment that holds up under real conditions, and Tactical Supply Pakistan stocks this full lineup with configurations matched to actual site requirements.

How far can these cameras actually detect a person?
It depends on the model. The fixed bullet camera detects humans at 3km, the bi-spectrum PTZ at 6.3km, the thermal HD sphere PTZ at 8.7km, and the cooled sphere flagship at up to 22km.
