Plastic Water Pipe Locator

Plastic water pipe locators detect and trace the underground route of non-metallic water supply pipes. Target pipe types include PVC, HDPE, and polyethylene mains and service connections. GPR antenna frequencies between 250 MHz and 900 MHz detect pipe wall dielectric contrast against surrounding soil. Detection depth runs between 0.3 and 3 meters depending on soil conditions.

Receiver displays show signal strength, depth estimation, and direction guidance during the survey walk. Audio tone output rises with signal intensity. Moreover, GPS data logging captures coordinate and depth readings at defined intervals.
