Nitric Oxide Gas Analyzer
Nitric oxide gas analyzers measure NO concentration in ambient air, clinical breath samples, and industrial process streams. They support emission compliance monitoring, clinical respiratory diagnostics, and atmospheric research applications. These analyzers deliver accurate, continuous NO measurement across the relevant concentration ranges for each use case.
Chemiluminescence is the gold-standard measurement technology for NO analysis. The instrument mixes sample gas with ozone in a reaction chamber. NO reacts with O3 to form excited-state NO2*, which emits light as it returns to ground state. A photomultiplier tube detects this emission. The signal intensity is directly proportional to NO concentration. This method achieves detection limits below 1 ppb with response times under 1 second. Furthermore, chemiluminescence analyzers distinguish NO from NO2 using a converter stage. This stage thermally reduces NO2 to NO before a second measurement. As a result, the instrument reports NO, NO2, and total NOx simultaneously from one sample stream.
Electrochemical NO sensors use a three-electrode amperometric cell. They oxidize NO at a working electrode and generate a proportional current. These sensors cover portable instruments and fixed industrial detectors at lower cost than chemiluminescence systems. Additionally, tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy measures NO through direct infrared absorption. This method delivers high selectivity against interfering gases including CO2 and water vapor.
Clinical FeNO analyzers measure exhaled nitric oxide as a biomarker of airway inflammation in asthma diagnosis. Patients exhale through a single-use mouthpiece at controlled flow rate. The analyzer delivers results in under 60 seconds for immediate clinical decisions.
These analyzers serve Pakistan’s hospital pulmonology clinics in Karachi and Lahore, industrial emissions compliance teams, environmental monitoring agencies, and university atmospheric science research departments.
Tactical Supply Pakistan supplies nitric oxide gas analyzers for clinical respiratory diagnostics, industrial emissions monitoring, and environmental air quality measurement procurement across Pakistan.
