Amphibious 8x8 Vehicle

An amphibious 8×8 vehicle is an eight-wheeled drive platform engineered to traverse water obstacles and operate across land terrain within a single vehicle configuration, eliminating the requirement to carry separate bridge equipment or wait for water-crossing infrastructure. The eight independent drive wheels distributed across the vehicle chassis provide exceptional traction on soft ground, mud, and rocky surfaces where conventional four-wheel or six-wheel platforms would lose mobility.

Maximum waterborne speed typically falls between 4 and 10 km/h, with amphibious crossing times across the Indus River or other major water obstacles ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on current velocity and water depth.
