Amphibious Lance Holder

The Amphibious Lance Holder is a torch grip and oxygen-feed assembly constructed entirely from brass, copper, and stainless steel across all oxygen-conducting metallic components. Seals and hoses use flame-retardant, self-extinguishing VITON or NEOPRENE compounds — materials tested specifically for use in oxygen-rich environments. All connection threads conform to EN ISO 228-1 Whitworth pipe thread standards, with nut-and-cone sealing used wherever geometry allows, and flat copper-seal sealing applied elsewhere. The holder supports a maximum working pressure of 40 bar (580 psi), with a recommended operational range of 8–12 bar (115–175 psi) for sustained safe use.

The holder’s oxygen pathway is fully sealed against backflow and pressure loss at the rod-seating interface. The quick-connect rod grip mechanism allows fast cutting rod changeover without tools, keeping downtime between rod consumptions minimal. The assembly is compact and portable, sized for one-handed operation during active cutting. Its material construction tolerates both dry terrestrial environments and wet or submerged conditions, making it compatible with both surface demolition and underwater cutting lance systems.

In large-scale industrial and defense operations, the Amphibious Lance Holder supports lance cutting work on offshore oil platform decommissioning projects, naval shipbreaking yards, and large infrastructure demolition sites where operators must transition between above-water and submerged cutting positions within a single job.

Tactical Supply Pakistan stocks this holder as part of its complete exothermic cutting system inventory — serving defense procurement officers, industrial demolition contractors, and fire and rescue agencies across Pakistan with operationally verified equipment.

Why must working pressure stay within 8–12 bar despite the holder’s 40 bar maximum rating?
The 40 bar figure is a structural ceiling, not an operational target. Exceeding 12 bar accelerates seal degradation, raises ignition risk at fittings, and can destabilize combustion velocity in the rod — making 8–12 bar the validated safe window.
