The Jet Fuel Tester is a compact, portable unit housed in a rugged metal enclosure measuring roughly 32 × 33 × 35 cm. It operates using a dual-cartridge system: one captures polar contaminants, while the other filters out non-polar components. The system features an NDIR spectrometer with no moving parts and an 8.4″ high-contrast color touchscreen mounted on an industrial PC.

Requiring only 35 mL of sample, the device runs on 85–264 V AC or a 12 V DC vehicle adapter. It weighs approximately 10 kg. Internally, the unit uses two solid-phase extraction cartridges and infrared detectors with separate optical filters. It automatically draws and analyzes the fuel, eliminating the need for manual intervention. IR spectral subtraction and dual-wavelength detection help prevent false positives. Each measurement completes in under five minutes. For communication, the device includes LAN, RS232, five USB ports, and optional Wi–Fi via USB dongle. Results can be exported as CSV or PDF files.
