Total Containment Vessel

The Total Containment Vessel is a DDESB-approved blast and fragmentation containment system available in two configurations: ARC 6GT and ARC 9GT. The ARC 6GT measures 142×141×172cm and weighs 1,727kg, rated for 6kg TNT equivalent. The ARC 9GT scales to 214×195×269cm at 4,180kg, rated for 9kg TNT equivalent. Both vessels carry pressure release valves, sealed electrical cable penetration devices, and full manual operation capability during total electrical failure. Minor post-detonation maintenance returns each unit to operating mode, making repeated field use practical without full workshop servicing.

Both ARC variants run in sealed gas-tight mode up to full explosive capacity, a structural feature separating them from standard containment vessels. Optional configurations include fragmentation sleeves, liquid and vapor sampling units, EOD tool compartments, decontamination units, and custom color finishes. Each vessel mounts directly onto trailers or fits into standard bomb squad vehicle beds. This supports both fixed-site and mobile deployment without modifying the host platform.

Military EOD teams deploy the Total Containment Vessel during IED recovery and controlled detonation operations. Full blast and gas containment must occur simultaneously in these scenarios. CBRN first responder units activate the gas-tight sealed mode when suspected chemical or biological agents accompany explosive devices. Police bomb squads integrate the ARC series into vehicle platforms for rapid urban deployment. Government buildings, transit hubs, and public venues represent the primary suspicious package response locations.

For defense and law enforcement agencies requiring DDESB-certified total containment with gas-tight CBRN capability, Tactical Supply Pakistan supplies both ARC configurations with support on vehicle integration, optional accessory selection, and operational deployment planning for specific EOD unit requirements.

Can the ARC vessels be reused after an internal detonation occurs?
Yes, both ARC 6GT and ARC 9GT are designed for repeated use. After each internal detonation, only minor maintenance is required to return the chamber to full operating condition, making them operationally sustainable assets rather than single-use containment solutions.
