Personnel Parachute System
The Personnel Parachute System is engineered for high-reliability airborne operations, supporting both static-line and free-fall deployments. This system includes the MC1-1C main canopy and the T-10R or Quantum reserve, built to deliver stable, controlled descent for combat or training use. The MC1-1C canopy measures 35 feet in diameter with a modified 11-gore design and four control-line slots for directional control. Its deployment is rapid and consistent, offering improved glide performance over conventional round canopies.
Constructed from highly durable ripstop nylon, the canopy’s reinforced skirt and radial seams withstand heavy use in demanding conditions. Paired with a secure harness and container assembly, the system accommodates a wide range of body types and mission loads. The optional Quantum Multi-Mission Reserve, certified under FAA TSO-C23f, offers enhanced descent control and higher payload tolerance—ideal for special operations requiring low-level or water landings.
The Personnel Parachute System is suited for military personnel, paratroopers, and tactical operators performing static-line jumps from aircraft like the C-130 or C-17. The rig supports day or night missions, and is optimized for use at drop altitudes between 800 and 3,500 feet AGL.
