The Target Drone Recovery Parachute System is a comprehensive recovery solution designed specifically for safe and controlled retrieval of target drones. The system includes essential components such as a drogue parachute, drogue pouch, drogue bridle, deployment bag, main canopy, main lines, delayed cutter, harness, disconnection adapter, and other associated parts. These components work together to ensure the drone’s steady and safe descent after mission completion.
Upon receiving the recovery command, the drone’s controller activates the system, causing the canister to open and release the drogue parachute trailing behind the drone’s tail. This initial drogue deployment stabilizes the drone and slows its velocity by creating drag. The drogue then pulls the main canopy and straightens the suspension lines, preparing for full canopy deployment. once the delayed cutter releases the binding lines, the main canopy inflates completely, enabling the drone to descend gently and steadily toward the ground. At the final stage, the disconnection adapter detaches the parachute from the drone, ensuring a clean separation and preventing any damage during landing. This process guarantees that both the parachute and drone land safely and can be recovered efficiently for reuse.
