NightRide Trailblazer 640 Grille Mount Thermal Camera

The NightRide Trailblazer 640 Grille Mount Thermal Camera utilizes a 640 x 512 uncooled micro-bolometer sensor and is available in three connectivity configurations: Ethernet, USB, and Analog. The Ethernet variant incorporates a 13mm lens with a 28-degree horizontal field of view and 25hz frame rate, powered by 12-16 VDC. USB and Analog variants feature a 9mm lens providing a wider 48-degree field of view with 30hz performance and 5 VDC power through USB connections. All configurations measure 7.25 inches by 6.375 inches by 6.75 inches, weigh 6 ounces, and include a 90-degree connector designed specifically for behind-grille installation.

Each model achieves 660-yard detection range regardless of connectivity option. The IP69-rated housing operates in temperatures from -40°F to +140°F with 4-watt power consumption. The Ethernet version includes passive PoE cable, PoE injector adapter, cigarette plug to barrel cable, alligator to 6-pin cable, ethernet cable, USB-C and Lightning adapters, four velcro ties, and ring connections. USB and Analog variants come with their respective cables and mounting hardware. All configurations include a standard hood mount with installation tools and support continuous or event-based recording modes.

Law enforcement agencies install the NightRide Trailblazer 640 Grille Mount on patrol vehicles for discreet forward surveillance during high-speed pursuits. Border security units mount these cameras behind grilles to detect unauthorized border crossings without alerting suspects. Armored transport companies integrate the system for threat detection during cash-in-transit operations.

Tactical Supply Pakistan offers all three connectivity variants with comprehensive installation guides and accessory packages. The company assists customers in selecting appropriate configurations based on vehicle architecture and operational requirements.

Why is the grille mount configuration advantageous over hood mounting?
The 90-degree connector and behind-grille placement provide concealed installation, protecting the camera from tampering and environmental damage while maintaining unobstructed thermal detection through vehicle grille openings.
