The NAR Responder Ballistic PPE Vest System offers NIJ 0101.06 Level IIIA soft armor tested against advanced threats such as .357 SIG, .44 Magnum, and fragmentation rounds up to 3060 ft/s. It measures 15 × 18 × 0.5 in (38 × 46 × 1.3 cm) and weighs approximately 9.1 lb (4.1 kg), fitting waists up to 62 in. The vest includes adjustable shoulder straps, PFAS-free materials, and external plate pockets for optional hard armor upgrades.
