NAR Responder Ballistic PPE Vest System
The NAR Responder Ballistic PPE Vest System offers NIJ 0101.06 Level IIIA soft armor tested against advanced threats such as .357 SIG, .44 Magnum, and fragmentation rounds up to 3060 ft/s. It measures 15 × 18 × 0.5 in (38 × 46 × 1.3 cm) and weighs approximately 9.1 lb (4.1 kg), fitting waists up to 62 in. The vest includes adjustable shoulder straps, PFAS-free materials, and external plate pockets for optional hard armor upgrades.
This system also integrates a chest pouch medical kit containing four C‑A‑T® tourniquets, two holders, two 6‑in ETD® dressings, two NAR wound‑packing gauze rolls, two 28F nasopharyngeal airways, a HyFin® vented chest seal twin pack, resuscitation gloves, trauma shears with leash, combat casualty cards, and two permanent markers. Components are organized on MOLLE webbing and pouches designed for quick point‑of‑wounding access.
