The Hypothermia Prevention & Management Kit – Insulated is a compact, mission-ready kit designed to reduce combat-related hypothermia in trauma patients. It features a Heat-Reflective Shell (HRS) lined with a proprietary thermal barrier that traps core body heat while shielding against wind and moisture. A self-heating Ready Heat™ blanket, equipped with multiple air-activated cells, delivers steady warmth for up to 10 hours.
Weighing less than 1.5 kg, the vacuum-sealed kit fits easily into medical packs, vehicles, or aircraft. The resealable HRS is large enough to wrap adult casualties with gear. For urgent care access, a hook-and-loop chest panel allows medics to monitor or treat patients without removing the insulation. Moreover, its reinforced seams and water-resistant outer layer help maintain thermal protection in wet or snowy conditions.
