It supports a full range of studies, including powder diffraction, PDF analysis, SAXS/WAXS, and thin-film characterization. Without reconfiguration, it handles powders, solids, films, and liquids. Moreover, its DAVINCI.DESIGN offers motorized, tool-free switching between beam geometries—Bragg-Brentano, parallel, and high-resolution. Automatic alignment and recognition ensure accurate peak positioning, intensity, and resolution. NDA and coating analysis benefit from TWIN/TRIO optics, which provide flexible beam paths across 1°–150° 2θ.

Equipped with dynamic beam optimization, the system includes motorized slits, an anti-scatter screen, and a variable detector window. These features reduce scatter from air and sample support, improving detection at low angles. This is especially important for materials like pharmaceuticals, clays, zeolites, and porous substances. In addition, the LYNXEYE XE‑T detector offers multi-modal use with energy resolution <380 eV at 8 keV.
