Trap 4G Live

Trap 4G Live is a cellular-connected trail camera system that transmits images and video clips directly to a smartphone or cloud platform immediately after each trigger event, removing the need to physically retrieve a memory card from the camera to access captured footage. The camera uses a passive infrared sensor to detect heat and motion within its detection zone. Trigger speed runs between 0.2 and 0.5 seconds from initial PIR detection to image capture. Still image resolution runs between 20 and 30 megapixels. Video recording delivers 1080p footage at clip lengths between 10 and 30 seconds per trigger event. The 4G LTE module transmits captured images to the user’s smartphone through a dedicated app within seconds of each trigger activation. Additionally, the companion app displays received images with timestamp, GPS coordinates, temperature reading, and battery status data for each trigger event, providing complete situational awareness of the deployment location from a remote position.

Night vision uses no-glow black infrared LED arrays. These produce illumination completely invisible to wildlife and human observers at the camera position. Infrared range reaches between 20 and 30 meters in complete darkness. No visible glow reveals the camera position during nighttime operation at security-sensitive or wildlife monitoring deployment sites. Furthermore, the 4G connection supports two-way communication on some Trap 4G Live variants, allowing the operator to remotely adjust camera settings including sensitivity, image resolution, and transmission schedule through the app without visiting the physical camera location.

AA lithium battery packs power the camera for between two and four months under moderate trigger frequency conditions. A built-in solar panel charging port on some models extends deployment duration further by supplementing battery charge during daylight hours.
