SmartBoat and SmartFlex systems are modular vessel electronics platforms that integrate navigation, communication, engine monitoring, and situational awareness functions into a scalable networked architecture adaptable across different vessel classes and operational requirements. Core functions deploy on a reduced hardware footprint while retaining NMEA 2000 network compatibility for expansion as mission requirements change. Furthermore, both SmartBoat and SmartFlex platforms support remote monitoring through 4G LTE or satellite communication links, transmitting GPS position, speed, heading, and engine status data to shore-based operations centers for real-time fleet tracking across multiple vessels on patrol simultaneously.

Data recording on both platforms logs GPS track history, AIS contact records, camera footage, and engine parameter trends to onboard SSD storage. Investigators and operations managers retrieve post-patrol records without specialized equipment. Moreover, sunlight-readable displays with brightness above 1000 nits keep helm screens visible during direct sunlight patrol operations on Pakistan’s Arabian Sea coastline and open river patrol routes.
