Portable Fire Pump
Portable fire pumps deliver high-pressure water flow to suppress fires where fixed hydrant infrastructure is unavailable. They serve wildfire suppression, remote facility fire response, military forward base protection, and disaster relief. Furthermore, they operate independently of mains water supply — drawing from rivers, ponds, and static tanks.
These pumps use gasoline or diesel engines driving centrifugal impeller assemblies. Engine power ranges from 5.5 horsepower on compact single-operator models to 18 horsepower on high-output systems. Flow rates cover 250 liters per minute on lightweight patrol pumps to over 1,000 liters per minute on heavy-duty models. Pressure output spans 6 bar on supply pumps to 16 bar on high-pressure firefighting models. Furthermore, self-priming capability draws water from open sources at suction lifts up to 7 meters. This eliminates the need to submerge the pump during field operations.
Portable wildfire pumps such as the Honda WSP10 use aluminum alloy casings and Robin engines. These weigh 15 to 30kg — light enough for two-person carry into forest terrain without vehicle access. Additionally, skid-mounted pump units mount on vehicle flatbeds, trailers, or helicopter sling loads. These deliver higher flow rates to large incident sites beyond man-portable pump capacity.
Draft hose assemblies and delivery hoses connect using standard Storz or instantaneous coupling fittings. This maintains compatibility with existing fire service hose infrastructure across Pakistan’s fire departments. Moreover, foam inductor proportioning systems attach inline to mix AFFF or Class A foam into the water stream. This enhances fire knockdown on flammable liquid and structural fires.
These pumps serve Pakistan’s Forest Department wildfire teams in KPK and AJK, Rescue 1122 emergency response units, Pakistan Army engineer units, industrial facility fire brigades across Karachi and Faisalabad, and remote construction site fire safety programs.
Tactical Supply Pakistan supplies portable fire pumps for wildfire suppression, industrial firefighting, military forward base protection, and disaster response procurement across Pakistan.
