Portable Anti UAV System
A portable anti-UAV system is a man-portable or easily transportable counter-drone platform that detects and defeats unauthorized unmanned aerial vehicles without requiring fixed installation or vehicle-mounted infrastructure. These systems give individual security operators or small teams the ability to establish counter-drone protection at temporary positions, forward operating locations, public events, and mobile checkpoints where permanent anti-drone installations are impractical or unavailable.
Portable anti-UAV systems combine detection and defeat functions within a compact, field-carriable configuration. Detection modules use passive RF scanning across drone control frequency bands including 433 MHz, 868 MHz, 915 MHz, 2.4 GHz, and 5.8 GHz to identify active drone transmissions within range. Some systems add acoustic sensors or small radar modules to detect non-transmitting or GPS-autonomous drones that RF scanning alone cannot identify. Upon detection, the operator activates the defeat mechanism, which typically consists of a directional RF jamming module transmitting disruptive energy across confirmed drone frequency bands, severing the control link and denying GPS navigation input to force a failsafe response from the target UAV.
Total system weight for backpack-portable anti-UAV configurations ranges from 5 to 15 kg including detection antenna, jamming module, battery pack, and control interface. Effective jamming range spans 300 to 1,500 meters depending on output power and antenna configuration. Battery endurance on field-portable systems supports 1 to 4 hours of active operation per charge.
In Pakistan, portable anti-UAV systems protect VIP movements at temporary locations, forward military positions, prison perimeter security operations, public event airspace management, and critical infrastructure inspection teams operating in areas with confirmed drone threat activity.
Tactical Supply Pakistan supplies portable anti-UAV systems to verified defense, law enforcement, and licensed security operators requiring deployable counter-drone capability across Pakistan.
