PIAP PATROL robots are a series of advanced, modular Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) developed by Poland’s PIAP (Przemysłowy Instytut Automatyki i Pomiarów) for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and reconnaissance missions. These robust, tracked robots feature manipulator arms with high dexterity, capable of handling dangerous objects and using disruptors. Equipped with day/night cameras, chemical detectors, and sometimes radiation sensors, they allow operators to assess and neutralize IEDs, UXOs, and hazardous materials from a safe distance. The PATROL series is designed for versatility, used by military, police, and civilian bomb squads worldwide.

  • Tracked EOD robots with advanced manipulator arms for delicate bomb disposal tasks.

  • Modular design allowing for integration of various sensors (CBRN, cameras) and tools.

  • Used for IED neutralization, UXO removal, and HAZMAT investigation.

  • Provides safe standoff capability for operators during high-risk render-safe procedures.

  • A proven platform in use by NATO and other allied military and police forces.

  • Represents Polish engineering excellence in robotic force protection.
