NEUTREX Disrupter
The NEUTREX disrupter defeats improvised explosive devices using a high-velocity water jet. It physically separates the initiator from the main explosive charge. This happens without triggering detonation. Furthermore, it produces no metal fragmentation — making it directly suitable for render safe operations in confined spaces and crowded public locations.
The disrupter fires a pre-loaded water cartridge using an electrically initiated propellant charge. Water’s incompressibility at exit velocity produces a coherent, dense jet. This jet penetrates device housings, severs initiator wiring, and disperses explosive fill. Additionally, NEUTREX produces low recoil on firing. As a result, it places minimal structural loading on lightweight robot arms and improvised mounting systems used during remote render safe procedures.
NEUTREX accepts standard 12-gauge electrically initiated cartridges. This maintains compatibility with the same initiator inventory used across other EOD disruption tools. Consequently, teams carry only one cartridge type across multiple disrupter platforms. Tool-free cartridge and water charge replacement takes under 60 seconds in field conditions. Moreover, the disrupter’s compact form factor and low weight make it compatible with all major EOD robot platforms. These include Wheelbarrow, TALON, and Remotec ANDROS — extending robot-based render safe capability without heavier platform configurations.
Shot placement covers frontal, lateral, and angled approaches to suspect devices. A lightweight adjustable stand positions the disrupter accurately at multiple heights and angles. It requires no anchoring hardware at the firing position.
These systems serve Pakistan Army EOD units, Pakistan Police Bomb Disposal Units across Karachi, Lahore, and Peshawar, Frontier Corps EOD teams in KPK and Balochistan, and Pakistan Rangers checkpoint security teams.
Tactical Supply Pakistan supplies the NEUTREX disrupter for IED render safe, bomb disposal, and robot-mounted EOD operations procurement across Pakistan.
