Modern Multi-Grenade System

A modern multi-grenade system is a launcher platform that fires multiple 40mm grenades in rapid succession from a single weapon. It extends sustained area suppression and multi-target engagement beyond what single-shot launchers provide. Firing rate is limited only by the operator’s trigger pull speed. A trained operator reloads the cylinder in 15 to 30 seconds using preloaded speed-loader clips that insert all six rounds at once.

Effective range for high-explosive 40mm rounds reaches 350 to 400 meters with point detonation fuzing. Area suppression rounds achieve similar fragmentation coverage at these distances. Ammunition compatibility spans high-explosive, smoke, illumination, less-lethal baton rounds, and CS gas projectiles. As a result, the same platform handles both lethal engagement and crowd control duties depending on the loaded round.
