Hybrid Chipping is a golf training and practice technique that combines elements of a standard chip shot with a putting stroke motion, producing a low-trajectory shot from just off the green that rolls out toward the hole more predictably than a traditional lofted chip. Golfers use hybrid chipping when conventional chip shot execution proves inconsistent, particularly on tight lies, firm turf, or when the ball sits close to the green edge with significant green to work with.
