Highfield Boats are rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) combining welded marine-grade aluminum hulls with inflatable tube collars. The brand produces vessels for recreational, commercial, military, and law enforcement use. Highfield fabricates hulls from 5052 or 5083 marine-grade aluminum alloy in 3mm to 5mm plate thickness. Welders join all joints using MIG or TIG processes, producing watertight seams without adhesive bonding. As a result, the hull resists denting, corrosion, and impact damage effectively. Additionally, aluminum weighs 20 to 30 percent less than fiberglass at equivalent structural rigidity. This improves payload capacity and fuel efficiency at planing speeds. Hull lengths span 2.4 meters on compact tender models to 7.9 meters on patrol variants.

Highfield uses 1,670 decitex Hypalon fabric on professional and military collar tubes. Recreational models use 1,100 decitex PVC instead. Marine-grade polyurethane adhesive bonds the tubes to the aluminum hull. Tube diameter ranges from 320mm on tender models to 420mm on larger patrol RIBs. Consequently, the collar provides both buoyancy reserve and impact absorption at speed.

Outboard motor transom ratings range from 15HP on compact models to 350HP on large patrol variants. Moreover, twin engine brackets on larger hulls support redundant propulsion for mission-critical operations.
