Electric Scooters
Electric Scooters are battery-powered two-wheeled personal mobility vehicles that use a hub-mounted or chain-drive electric motor to propel the rider without requiring pedaling or combustion fuel. Available in configurations ranging from lightweight folding commuter models to heavy-duty performance variants, electric scooters have become a practical urban and campus mobility option across Pakistan’s congested city environments where short-distance travel efficiency, reduced fuel costs, and ease of parking are operational priorities.
The drivetrain consists of a brushless DC (BLDC) hub motor integrated into the front or rear wheel, with power outputs ranging from 250W on entry-level commuter models to 2,000W or higher on performance variants. Motor output determines top speed — 250W motors reaching 25km/h under load, 500W systems achieving 35 to 45km/h, and higher-output motors capable of speeds exceeding 60km/h on flat terrain. Lithium-ion battery packs — typically 36V to 72V nominal voltage in capacities from 7.5Ah to 30Ah — provide riding ranges between 25km and 100km per charge depending on pack capacity, rider weight, terrain gradient, and speed.
Frame construction uses aluminum alloy or high-strength steel tubing, with folding hinge mechanisms on commuter models allowing the handlebar column to collapse for storage in vehicle boots or public transport carriages. Wheel sizes range from 8 inches to 12 inches in diameter on standard scooters, with pneumatic tires providing improved ride quality over solid rubber alternatives on uneven road surfaces common in Pakistani urban environments.
Braking systems combine regenerative motor braking — recovering kinetic energy back into the battery — with mechanical disc or drum brakes on the rear wheel and hydraulic or cable-actuated disc brakes on the front. Digital display panels show speed, battery level, riding mode, and odometer data, with riding mode selection between eco, standard, and sport adjusting power output and maximum speed.
In Pakistan, electric scooters are used for daily urban commuting, campus and industrial facility internal transport, last-mile delivery operations, and security patrol of large enclosed sites.
Tactical Supply Pakistan supplies electric scooters across commuter and performance configurations for personal, commercial, and security patrol procurement across Pakistan.
