Active Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer
The Active Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer operates across a 2μm to 16μm spectral range with 4 cm⁻¹ standard resolution. The system integrates a ZnSe beam splitter with a Stirling compressor-cooled MCT detector rated for over 10,000 operational hours. Main unit dimensions measure 560 mm × 370 mm × 260 mm at 25 kg, while the infrared light source weighs 8 kg and the electrical control box adds 5 kg. The telescope features 5x magnification with a 10 mrad incident field of view and 30 mrad interferometer field.
IP66 waterproof rating allows deployment in temperatures from -20°C to 60°C with humidity tolerance up to 95% RH non-condensing. Passive scanning mode detects over 400 toxic chemicals at 10 ppmm within three-kilometer range, while active mode identifies threats at 0.1 ppmm within 100 meters. Chemical warfare agents including sarin, soman, VX, and mustard gas trigger alarms below 0.1 ppm concentration. The system analyzes mixed gas compositions simultaneously with one-second rapid response and three-second identification accuracy.
