Firefighting Backpacks

TSP’s Firefighting Backpacks are available in three capacity variants: 9-litre, 10-litre, and 12-litre models. Each unit operates on water mist and CAFS technology at 8.5 bar working pressure with a consistent flow rate of 24 litres per minute. The 9-litre variant features a V4A stainless steel container weighing 12.5 kg empty, while the 10-litre model uses stainless steel construction at just 8.5 kg. The 12-litre version incorporates ultra-light carbon and aramid fiber composite material, bringing empty weight to 10 kg despite the larger capacity.

All three variants deliver identical fire ratings of 55A and 233B per EN3 standards. The jet mode reaches 16-18 meters, while spray mode covers 6-7 meters effectively. Operating temperature ranges from +5°C to +60°C. Each system uses compressed air from a 2-litre cylinder filled to 300 bar with G5/8 interior valve connection. The ergonomic backpack frame includes universal bottle holders compatible with breathing apparatus. Mode changeover from jet to spray takes approximately 2 seconds.

Fire rescue teams across Pakistan deploy Firefighting Backpacks during rapid response operations where conventional equipment cannot reach. Naval firefighting crews use these systems aboard vessels for compartment fires and machinery spaces. Military bases rely on the 9-litre and 10-litre variants for aircraft hangars and ammunition storage areas. Industrial firefighters prefer the 12-litre model for petrochemical facilities and confined space incidents. Airport crash rescue units carry these backpacks for initial attack on fuel fires before heavy apparatus arrives.

Tactical Supply Pakistan maintains comprehensive stock of all three variants with immediate delivery across major cities. Their technical support team provides training sessions for proper deployment and maintenance procedures. Service centers in Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad handle annual inspections and cylinder refills.

Can these backpacks safely extinguish electrical fires?
Yes, all variants handle electrical fires up to 1000V at 3-meter safe distance. The optional electrical nozzle extends capability to 35kV at 1-meter distance, though jet mode disables for safety during high-voltage operations.
