The Naval Radar NX Software is a next-generation radar operations solution designed to consolidate navigation, tactical, and surveillance functions into a single, user-friendly interface. Built around a modular software architecture, it allows seamless upgrades and mission-specific adaptations without the need for hardware changes. Each console receives RAW radar video directly from the transceiver, enabling independent PPI (Plan Position Indicator) customization and filtering. This decentralized processing boosts situational clarity and response speed during multi-role operations.
This software integrates advanced features such as automatic clutter suppression using CFAR and “Cloud” atmospheric noise reduction technologies, ensuring clean target displays in all conditions. It supports dynamic track management, intercept point calculation, and course-to-steer guidance, making it ideal for real-time threat evaluation. Up to 99 Parallel Index Lines (PILs) can be deployed simultaneously for reference plotting. Users can also define and adjust blanking sectors on the fly, optimizing focus in complex maritime environments.
The Naval Radar NX Software is deployed across a variety of naval platforms: frigates, patrol vessels, and command ships—supporting tasks like search and rescue, helicopter approach control, and coastal surveillance. Its tactical tracking and target labeling capabilities make it valuable for mission-specific operations such as law enforcement at sea or airspace security during naval exercises. With full MED type-approval (IEC 62388), it meets the highest maritime electronic standards for defense fleets.
