Field Blood Transfusion Kit
The Field Blood Transfusion Kit organizes into separate donor and recipient modules packaged in either MOLLE-compatible pouches or heavy-duty resealable plastic bags for streamlined whole blood collection and administration procedures. The donor module contains a 450ml collection bag with integrated anticoagulant citrate phosphate dextrose solution, 16-gauge needle with safety cover, alcohol prep pads, tourniquet, gauze pads, and medical tape for venipuncture site management. The recipient module includes blood administration set with 170-micron filter, IV catheter, extension tubing, additional alcohol prep pads, and securing tape.
Optional configurations include a 250ml bag of 0.9 percent sodium chloride solution for line priming and a blood typing card for donor-recipient compatibility verification in field conditions. The MOLLE pouch variant measures approximately 8 x 6 x 2 inches with hook-and-loop closures and external identification markings. Components are color-coded and labeled to prevent cross-contamination between donor and recipient equipment during high-stress tactical scenarios. All sterile items feature tamper-evident packaging with expiration date tracking.
