The Aquifer 200 Power Pack Solar (PPS) is a compact, self-sufficient water purification system designed for portable use. Housed in a rugged, military-grade molded plastic case with corrosion-resistant composite construction, it measures 31 x 20.5 x 15.5 inches and weighs 135 lbs (62 kg). The system produces 8.3 gallons (31 liters) of clean water per hour from salt, brackish, or freshwater sources. It operates on 12V DC, drawing about 14.5 watts per gallon, and includes a 31 amp hour deep cycle gel battery, folding solar panels, an MPPT solar charge controller, and an AC battery charger for versatile power options.
Equipped with Spectra’s unique Clark Pump energy recovery device, the system efficiently recycles energy to reduce power consumption, enabling operation with as little as 110 watts. Its analog controls include a flow meter, pressure gauge, and handheld salinity monitor for simple monitoring. The fixed freshwater recovery ratio system protects membranes, extending their life up to 8-10 years with proper maintenance.
