Key metrics: Frequency, bandwidth, signal strength (dBm), time‑of‑arrival, angle‑of‑arrival (AoA)/bearing, pulse characteristics and modulation type.

Processing & analytics: Real‑time signal processing, signature libraries, ML classification, geolocation (triangulation/TDOA/AoA) and trend/behaviour analysis.

Applications: EW/defence, border/security, spectrum management, interference hunting, critical‑infrastructure protection and counter‑UAS.

Challenges & ops: Cluttered spectrum, multipath/propagation effects, need for sensor fusion (GPS/time sync), legal/regulatory constraints and requirement for calibration & trained analysts.
