Gas Thermal Imager

The VOC300 Gas Thermal Imager employs a cooled focal plane array with Mercury Cadmium Telluride (MCT) detector material operating in the 3.1-3.5μm spectral range for volatile organic compound visualization. The 320×256 resolution detector achieves thermal sensitivity below 10mK NETD at 30°C with 1mrad spatial resolution. Standard 30mm focal length lens provides 18°x14° field of view with f/1.2 aperture and depth of field from 0.5 meters to infinity.

Dual-function operation combines infrared thermal imaging with gas leak detection without switching devices. The 5-megapixel CMOS visible light camera features autofocus and high-power dual LED fill light for documentation. OLED viewfinder displays 1024×768 resolution, while either 4.3-inch or 5-inch touchscreen options provide field interface. Temperature measurement spans -20°C to 60°C in low-temperature mode with ±2°C or ±2% accuracy. The system records MP4 video or full-temperature IRV format to 32GB SD card storage. HDMI video output enables real-time display on external monitors. USB 2.0 and optional 4G SIM card provide data transfer and connectivity.

Petrochemical facility inspection teams deploy the VOC300 Gas Thermal Imager for leak detection in processing equipment where volatile organic compounds escape through valve packing and flange connections. Military fuel depot personnel conduct routine inspections of aviation fuel storage tank seals and transfer system components. Naval damage control teams identify hydrocarbon vapor leaks in engine rooms and fuel distribution systems aboard vessels.

Tactical Supply Pakistan provides VOC thermal imaging systems weighing 3.2kg with ergonomic design, lithium battery or DC power options, and UNC quarter-inch tripod mounting for extended monitoring operations.

Does the cooled MCT detector require maintenance or consumable coolant replacement?
Cooled detectors use sealed Stirling cycle or thermoelectric cooling requiring no consumables, but periodic maintenance intervals verify cooling performance and detector calibration for sustained sensitivity specifications.
