The Blizzard Baby Wrap is a vacuum‑packed, pouch‑style thermal blanket measuring 65 × 24 cm when unfolded and weighing just 55 g. It uses three layers: an outer waterproof polymer shell, a central heat‑trapping Reflexcell® air pocket, and a reflective metallized inner lining. Elastic edges ensure a snug fit around an infant’s body. The emergency kit includes a double‑sided adhesive tape closure spanning the chest to secure the wrap.
This wrap provides approximately 7 TOG of insulation without added bulk. The Reflexcell® layer traps warm air while the metallic inner surface reflects the infant’s own body heat. The flat‑packed format fits into first responder kits or neonatal emergency packs and requires no assembly, just unfold and apply.
