Thermosetting Anti-Skid Coating System | TSP

D2 Airfield Protect is a thermosetting anti-skid coating system engineered for civil and military airfields, runways, taxiways, and aircraft parking areas. The system combines high mechanical strength with chemical and thermal resistance, significantly increasing surface grip, reducing aquaplaning risk, and meeting BFR 9021 construction guidelines for military airfield safety surfaces. Its dark-pigmented, matt finish eliminates light reflection from concrete, enhances camouflage, and accelerates thawing to reduce de-icing agent use in winter maintenance. The multi-layer system includes a D2 Airfield Protect EP 1000 primer, EP 2000 bedding layer, and WP 3001 header seal, offering excellent abrasion resistance, high freeze-thaw resistance, resistance to aviation fuels and hydraulic oils, UV and weather stability, and high heat resistance. It is suited for NATO-classified airfield zones including runways (Object 1A), taxiways (Objects 2–3), aircraft parking areas (Objects 4A/4B/4C), arming/disarming areas (Object 5), hangar aprons (Object 6A), braking areas (Objects 6B/6C), and shelter loops.
