The Magnettech-EPR Instrument is a compact, high-sensitivity electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectrometer optimized for X-band frequencies. It detects unpaired electrons in chemical, biological, and material samples with remarkable accuracy. The system offers a sensitivity of 5×10¹⁰ spins/mT and can detect concentrations as low as 20 pM. Moreover, it operates across a wide magnetic field range from -10 mT to 650 mT. With a weak pitch signal-to-noise ratio of 600:1, it excels at analyzing free radicals, transition metal complexes, and other paramagnetic species.
Users can adjust microwave power between 1 μW and 100 mW, making it suitable for both delicate and demanding tasks. The instrument supports modulation frequencies of 10 kHz and 100 kHz, while maintaining field homogeneity of ±5 μT. In addition, it offers long-term field stability of 1.0 μT/h, which is crucial for extended measurement sessions or repeatable quality control processes. An analog signal output is also available, allowing integration with older data acquisition systems or third-party modules.
